Belgian Fibers

This PP fiber is most popular in the production of needlefelt carpets, for a wide variety of applications (from domestic and contract carpets to car mats).

When used in needlefelt as well as in spun yarn, carpets produced with PP fibers or yarns offer the following benefits:

• Extremely stain proof: resistant to common stains
• PP can be cleaned with neat bleach
• Resistant to aggressive products (even battery acids will not damage it)
• UV treated carpets will not fade under sunlight
• PP carpets are more economic: they are cheaper thanks to the low specific density: more volume for the same weight than carpets made out of other fiber types (wool, polyester, polyamide, etc…).
